Voluntaryism? What is it?

“People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own soul.”

-Carl Gustav Jung

“There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.”

-Henry David Thoreau
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”

-Dead Sea Scrolls

Government or state or be it Big Brother from George Orwell’s infamous book 1984, management or lack of it is always a major question. Should we manage ourselves by authoritarian structures like Governments or not? Or is there a better way to organize and work with each other? Should we just look at the symptoms of the epidemic problem of violence and fear or the root cause? It’s up to us as people if we want to make it through. Is “black” really a “race” or a fundamental part of life that has to be dealt with for spiritual health? ¬†So how can we be sovereign? How can we be freer?

Voluntaryism is one great solution:

“Voluntaryists are advocates of non-political, non-violent strategies to achieve a free society. We reject electoral politics, in theory and in practice, as incompatible with libertarian principles. Governments must cloak their actions in an aura of moral legitimacy in order to sustain their power, and political methods invariably strengthen that legitimacy. Voluntaryists seek instead to delegitimize the State through¬†education, and we advocate withdrawal of the cooperation and tacit consent on which State power ultimately depends.”

Now that’s just what voluntaryists and anarchists agree on to attain self sovereignty or what is known as natural self ownership. Non aggression in terms of being violent just because you can be but instead utilizing violence for survival and self defense is a key component. Homeschooling children through mutual information that is available via massive libraries that the World has for example is very much encouraged in voluntaryism or anarchism. Being able to be self sufficient as a community without the need of rulers or leaders is a key area that can be addressed in our society today especially the more we face our collective darkness and inward troubles individually on our own without outside leaders or rulers over us. Seeing that an ego is not to be ended all the way for instance yet instead faced as not being real and as a source of helping you spiritually evolve with time moment by moment. That is what facing the shadow and facing the soul is all about. Take for instance Australian Shaman Kaleo Selah’s view on facing the shadow self:

“The power of the Egoless-ego is derived from accessing the Shadow. As all corporeal bodies exist with a shadow, the Egoless-ego knows its ego as it knows its shadow. Accessing the shadow is becoming mature and free. Accessing the shadow directly allows for disowned parts of ourselves to become re-assimilated and used. Become whole as One knows each part. Everything must be filled and nourished by something….. even the ego.

We must admit the existence and the importance of Ego and Shadow in our inner work. We must communicate according to the voice of the eminent source. Communication and transformation is where its at… Denial is not the answer…. ever. ”

“Human civilization will thrive with cooperation and will die with competition, and if you operate in these truths then you end up with the extinction that lies before us.”

-Bruce Lipton
